HOMESTEAD (Student Film) I´m not too sure if the first man and the one she falls in love is the same.
Either way my interpretation is that the woman used to be a whore but after finding love in a nice relantionship shes is scared that his husband gets to find out about her past and judges her and even leaves her, now that she has a baby it repugnates her to think what she used to do and this causes her insecuritiesabout her body, maybe she even feels that she doesnt deserve that child and that hapiness that the ralationship has granted her, at the end she watches as a bird taking care of its son and realizes that she shouldnt be worried about the past and starts looking forward to do the same, live in the present and stop thinking too much; to start enjoying the new life that has been granted to her.
Not sure if I got it right but finding interpretations its still fun, hope it doesnt bother u.
