I DID IT!!!!!!
8 months ago I started on monkeytype with lilke 27 wpm, fast forward to now and I can proudly say I was able to type 100 wpm at least once, I must admit that it took longer than what I had anticipated but in my defense i was occupied being an exchange student in the US and I didnt wanted to spend that time typing. In a way I kind of forgot this goal, that is until recently when I was submerged in the misery of being a med student I remembered some things that used to make me happy and picked up monkeytype again, in way it became my excuse to procrastinate, like sure, watch some youtube videos while you type your life away, thats productive enough.
Maybe using Monkeytype as a way to inhibit your brain is not the healthiest thing, but at least im happy to finally achieve this goal, I must say, the threshold from 90 to 100 words was quite exhausting since the progress was so slow and my fingers would get tired from doing tests repeteadly, not to mention that at times I would seem to forget how to type and come back to like 87 wpm, but after a session of Rift of the NecroDancer I gues my fingers (and brain) loosed and there you have it, a 100 wpm flawless run, Im so happy about this :)
(Results of test obtained on the standard english preset, currently at 80 wpm in the 10k preset)
